This authentically detailed sword is a reproduction of the prop featured in The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring.
The sword of Samwise Gamgee, faithful servant of Frodo, was recovered from the Barrow-Downs after the hobbits were rescued by Tom Bombadil from a Barrow wright.
The sword, actually a dagger made by the Men of Westernesse, served Sam well in the quest to destroy the One Ring.
This sword has been meticulously recreated by using the actual film prop.
The blade was created from 440 stainless steel instead of carbon steel as used on the original prop, in order to guarantee the replica will last a lifetime with little maintenance.
The cross guard and pommel are cast metal and the grip is wrapped with genuine leather exactly like the prop.
